Board Meeting

TeamJumpStart's mission statement was conceived and written by the Board of Directors, all of whom are kids:

"Our Mission is to never give up!!  Our commitment is to influence and empower our members with the necessary tools to set an example for the rest of the community.

Desire, dedication, and determination are the primary drivers for our team.  We will lead by example."

Desire
"What is desire?  It is something inside us that makes us all unique.  It is what makes us excited to be alive - a feeling that excites a person to do something.  No task is too great as long as you have the desire.  This is the first step."

Determination
"Have the drive inside of you to get it done no matter what gets in your way.  You make a decision and NEVER look back.  Some will be right and some will be wrong.  You will learn from the wrong decisions and the right ones, well, what more is there to say.  You will live the reward."  

Dedication
"Stick with it.  It does not matter if everyone else is taking a different path.  Always follow your gut.  Many times these decisions will not be the easiest.  They will take a lot of hard work and time. Make time for what is important in life and always find humor where you can.  My great-grandfather, Grumpy, always told me 'A day you do not laugh is lost forever.' "
